Onsite at Our Murchison Lodge

We offer onsite accommodation for course participants and visiting kayakers at our purpose-built lodge in Murchison. Set at the back of the property overlooking the Lyell Range, the lodge makes for easy living in your off-the-water time.

Inside, there are three bunkrooms with four beds each, three bathrooms, and a spacious kitchen that easily caters for large groups. The lounge and fire are a great place to warm up, and a large deck outside is perfect for catching the last of the afternoon sun.

In summer months, we also have two Mongolian-style yurts set up outside: the Honeymoon Yurt (sleeps two) and the Family Yurt (sleeps four).

For some training courses, on-site accommodation is included in your course fee, running from the night before your course starts through to your final day. Please check your course confirmation and Pre-Course Information for what’s included.

For visiting kayakers not enrolled in a course, accommodation is subject to availability; please contact us directly. Standard check-in and check-out times, and any house rules for on-site accommodation, will be provided to you at the time of booking.

Casual Stays

For casual stays at the lodge outside of a course booking (by request), current indicative rates are:

• Lodge accommodation: $40 per night
• Camping: $25 per night

subject to availability.

Alternative Accommodation

If you would prefer alternative accommodation, there are many options in Murchison such as the Grand Suites or Riverside Holiday Park. These accommodation options are not owned, operated, or controlled by us, and we accept no responsibility for the standard, safety, or availability of accommodation booked there. Any bookings are a separate arrangement directly between you and the relevant provider.
