Our four-day Advanced courses suit confident whitewater paddlers who want to refine their technique and move up through the grades. This course is for you if you:
- Paddle Grade 3 comfortably and have a reliable roll
- Want to step up to harder, more technical whitewater
- Want to refine your technique and make your paddling more consistent
- Want to try different disciplines – creeking, slalom, play and downriver
No two Advanced courses are the same – we’ll work out where you’re at and where you want to head, then help you fill the gaps.
What you’ll work on
Refine your kayaking
- A close look at your technique to find what you need next
- Quality strokes, precise boat control and consistency
- Reading water and choosing your own lines
- Mixing disciplines in different kayaks – creeking, slalom, play and downriver
- Big-volume water through to technical creeking
- Video analysis of your paddling
Based at our lodge, close to five rivers – so you spend more time paddling and less time driving.
