Carter is a newly arrived American on a working holiday, looking to find a summer job. From the States, he holds an American Canoe Association (ACA) Level 4 whitewater kayak instruction certification and has worked as an instructor and raft guide for multiple seasons, including as a lead guide at the Nantahala Outdoor Center overseeing raft operations. He’s also done some software engineering along the way.

Carter is super passionate about sharing his love of the outdoors with others, and in a place as beautiful as this, he’s stoked to keep doing just that.
