Wil grew up on a dairy farm in Golden Bay with the Abel Tasman National Park on his doorstep. From a young age, nature became a huge part of his life and drew him towards a career in the outdoor industry.

Whether it’s on the awa, out in the bush, or bobbing on the ocean, Wil has a real passion for sharing outdoor experiences with people. With almost a decade in the industry, he has a background in outdoor education and guiding. Wil’s last four years of mahi have seen him working primarily as a whitewater and multisport kayak coach, working alongside many Coast to Coast athletes.

When he’s not lugging a kayak on his shoulder trying to explore a new river, Wil loves getting out in the surf and escaping for missions in the hills with his rifle.
